Of course our boss and all of the other guys and girls up on the top floor are sweating bullets lately. All sorts of rumors are flying around the water cooler and most of them are pretty disconcerting. When the big wigs show to look at your books and interview people, that obviously is going to make people nervous. Today I went to look at one of those party bus Toronto limo bus rental places to see what they had to offer. Of course it would be normal to have a big stretch limo for the big boss, but in this case he is coming along with a dozen other people and so we figured it might be best to rent a limo bus. They have all sorts of vehicles which are pretty much differentiated by the number of passengers that can be packed in them. The biggest thing you can get is going to carry about forty five people, but obviously that is too much. I figure one of the limo vans is going to do the job.
Obviously the big worry is that the people who count the beans will look at our beans and decide that we do not have enough of them. That seems to be what everyone is worried about, because we know that the company has been having issues. They have stockholders and the stockholders are the sort of people who only seem to care about making a quick buck off of their stock, without much concern for the people who draw a salary. The CEO is under a lot of pressure and he is looking for ways to make a quick profit. I figure that they may be trying to figure out if they can sell us off and turn a quick profit from it.
